First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join the CIAM and Fraud delivery team. The role supports Commercial and Personal Banking Digital Platforms, requiring strong leadership and advanced Java/Spring expertise.

You will guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive secure, scalable solutions in a remote, multi-market setting across the United States. Strong collaboration with IT and business stakeholders is essential.

Formación

• Requires Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in software development.
• Experience with Java and .NET/C#, RESTful services, and SQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance, estimations, and solution design across CIAM and Fraud platforms.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers across distributed teams to ensure quality and delivery.
• Develop and oversee Java/Spring based microservices, REST APIs, and security patterns.
• Ensure secure software development practices and protection of PII across systems.
• Collaborate with IT management and business stakeholders on architectural decisions.
