First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join the CIAM and Fraud delivery team. The role supports a remote, multi-market setup across the United States, delivering modern, secure enterprise applications with Java and Spring frameworks.

You will guide architecture, implement API contracts, ensure secure development practices, and mentor distributed teams to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' software development experience OR High School/GED with 10 years' experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance and effort estimation for projects.
• Develop code and oversee distributed development teams.
• Design, develop, deploy and support enterprise apps using Java and Spring (Boot, MVC/WebFlux, Security).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and versioning.
• Implement secure SDLC practices and protect customer data (PII).
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and lead architectural discussions.
