First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join our CIAM and Fraud delivery team, supporting Commercial and Personal/Business Banking platforms across the U.S. This remote role emphasizes technical leadership, rapid delivery, and architectural guidance.

You will guide design of secure APIs, oversee distributed teams, and ensure best practices in SDLC, DevSecOps, and modern cloud-native solutions, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders.

Formación

• Strong Java/Spring experience with REST APIs and security.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies (OAuth/OIDC/mTLS).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical design discussions.
• Familiar with microservices, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native apps.
