JPMorganChase in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Firmwide AI/ML Deployment Platform team to architect and own deployment infrastructure at scale. You will collaborate across Glasgow, London, New Jersey, and India, shaping control plane components, APIs, monitoring, and deployment tooling for model deployments.

You’ll drive architectural decisions with direct engagement with US-based clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and production-grade systems while advancing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale systems.
• Experience architecting cloud-based platforms in production.
• Experience with AI/ML tooling and deployment workflows.
• Strong communication across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural vision for platform components, including multi-region deployment and DR.
• Design and implement APIs for retraining, scheduling, deployment, and autoscaling.
• Build infrastructure for seamless integration across control plane and client accounts.
• Engage with US-based clients for requirements, solutioning, and debugging.
• Make independent architectural decisions with minimal oversight.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Influence product design, application function, and operational processes.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation at scale.
