Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive AI-assisted development and scalable platform solutions in Corporate Sector Technology. You will design, build, and maintain ML lifecycle components, cloud infrastructure, and automated deployment pipelines to deliver trusted financial technology.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and data handling.
• Hands-on server-side development including Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST, and JMS.
• Experience in building high-volume, low-latency, high-throughput transactional systems.
• Experience in building microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Core, MVC, Web Services and Messaging.
• Experience with AWS services - S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and ALB/NLB.
• Agile Development experience with SCRUM or similar methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform components that support end-to-end ML model lifecycle.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC toolchain to improve value from automation.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed with secure review.
• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS for model training and serving workloads.
• Automate model deployment, testing, and release processes within the SDLC/MLOps toolchain.
• Support Platform team in developing automated solutions.
• Monitor platform health and model serving infrastructure; resolve performance issues.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
