GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to provide analytical modeling and system architecture development for aerospace programs. You will lead thermal analyses, coordinate with systems engineering, and support verification, validation, and production transitions.

The role requires strong modeling expertise in thermal fluids, VCS/LCS/ACS, and programming in MATLAB/Python, with experience in MIL-STD-810/DO-160 and NX CAD. Remote or on-site in Utah options available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 8–10 years of experience
Experience in thermal-fluid systems modeling and verification
Knowledge of aerospace requirements management and verification processes

Responsibilities

Assist Systems Engineer in developing program architecture and technical approach for thermal and controls analysis
Identify and manage thermal performance risks
Lead modeling and analysis activities across engineering teams
Develop and verify system models and requirements traceability
Support transition from prototype to production and problem diagnostics
