Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Senior Lead Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on software engineering for a Federal ADSS program. You will lead development across enterprise applications, mentor teams, and establish best practices to deliver secure, scalable solutions for mission-critical operations.

You will collaborate with the Program Manager, Solution Architect, and cybersecurity personnel to support modernization, cloud migration, and DevSecOps practices, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of enterprise software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting Federal Government IT systems.
• Minimum 3 years in Lead Developer or Technical Lead roles.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies for enterprise web apps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for application development and system enhancements.
• Lead Agile teams through SDLC phases and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure software solutions.
• Mentor developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Support modernization and cloud migration efforts and CI/CD pipelines.
