Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Senior Lead Application Developer to join our federal client project in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will help modernize systems, lead DevSecOps efforts, and shape cloud-based framework while navigating Federal security requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architectural guidance, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure software solutions for complex government needs.

Qualifications

• Ten years of Full Stack development experience.
• Experience with automation using Power Automate and UiPath.
• Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and OOD; multi-threading.
• Develop dynamic, responsive apps with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS; scalable modules/services.
• Experience with databases and SQL; unit testing with JUnit.
• Proficient in IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse); basic design patterns knowledge.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and distributed system design.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure; DevOps tools like Jenkins, Groovy, Maven, GitLab; shell scripting.
• Front-end experience with React.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and design guidance for complex applications and environments.
• Lead development with automated, scalable solutions for government systems.
• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders on system improvements and maintenance.
• Apply knowledge of architecture, networking, automation, and lifecycle management to deliver automated solutions.
