Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, a federal contractor, is seeking a Technical Lead / Solution Architect in the Washington, DC area. The role requires guiding enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, and secure software engineering across Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Power Platform, .NET, SQL Server, and SharePoint Online.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
• 5+ years supporting Federal Government enterprise IT systems.
• 5+ years as Technical Lead or Enterprise Architect.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for application development, modernization, and cloud engineering.
• Lead enterprise architecture planning across Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Power Platform, .NET, SQL Server, SharePoint Online.
• Develop solution architectures, roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions with government stakeholders.
• Lead modernization, cloud migration, API development, and system integration.
• Provide SDLC leadership including requirements, architecture, deployment, and operations.
• Establish software engineering standards, DevSecOps, CM, and release procedures.
• Mentor engineering staff and drive continuous improvement.
