Job summary

CRB seeks an Automation, Instrumentation and Controls (AIC) Engineer at Senior Lead level to oversee discipline on complex projects. You will lead design, documentation, and field support, directing junior staff and coordinating with multi-discipline teams.

Requirements include ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in ChemE/ME/EE and 15+ years of experience in a design environment; PE and ISA CIP preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit supports high-quality, compliant deliverables.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline-specific field (ChemE, ME or EE).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Professional Engineer registration and related credentialing are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project discipline budget on simple to complex projects.
• Direct and manage workflows for design and engineering staff.
• Lead development of construction drawings, specifications, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on proposals, scheduling, and man-hour planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers across multiple levels.
