Job summary

CRB is seeking an AIC Engineer III to oversee discipline budgets and coordinate with clients, engineers, and vendors on small to medium projects. The role emphasizes delivering design across programming, feasibility, and detailed design phases, and may lead automation system work on larger programs.

Ideal candidates will have a chemistry/ME/E E background with 5+ years in design, strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, and familiarity with instrumentation and control system design within manufacturing

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in a discipline-specific field (ChemE, ME or EE).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a design firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion.
• Intermediate knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environments.
• Intermediate experience with instrumentation and controls engineering calculations, and designing control system schematics, panel fabrication drawings and field wiring plans.
• Intermediate experience with P&ID design.
• Intermediate experience with applicable mechanical and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and external partners.
• Plans and directs work and manages a project budget from a discipline design perspective on small projects of limited complexity.
• Supports proposal development under the supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Identifies basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and field surveys.
• Develops basic internal discipline design and engineering training presentations.
• Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.
• Leads squad check and discipline check for small projects of intermediate complexity and drives overall project quality.
• Provides mentorship to discipline Engineer I and/or Designer I and II.
• Leads intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead or Senior Engineer.
