Job summary

CRB is seeking an AIC Engineer III in Pennsylvania to oversee discipline design and budgets on small to mid-size projects. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal engineers, delivering design through all phases from programming to construction administration.

The role requires a BA/BS in a relevant engineering field and at least five years of design firm experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline-specific field (ChemE, ME or EE).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and external partners.
• Plans and directs work and manages a discipline design budget on small projects of limited complexity.
• Supports proposal development under supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Identifies basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.
• Develops basic internal discipline design and engineering training presentations.
• Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.
• Leads squad check and discipline check for small projects of intermediate complexity and drives overall project quality.
• Provides mentorship to discipline Engineer I and/or Designer I and II.
• Leads intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead or Senior Engineer.
