Job summary

CRB is seeking an AIC Engineer III to oversee discipline design and budget on small to medium projects in Bridgewater, CT. You will coordinate with internal and external engineers, clients, managers, and vendors to deliver automation systems across all design phases.

The role requires ABET-accredited education and at least 5 years in a design environment, with AutoCAD and Revit proficiency. You will mentor junior staff and ensure project quality.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline-specific field of study (ChemE, ME or EE).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Intermediate knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and external partners.
• Plans and directs work and manages a discipline budget from a design perspective on small projects of limited complexity.
• Supports proposal development under supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Identifies basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and surveys.
• Develops basic internal discipline design and engineering training presentations.
• Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.
• Leads squad checks and discipline checks for small projects of intermediate complexity and drives overall project quality.
• Provides mentorship to discipline Engineer I and/or Designer I and II.
• Leads intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead or Senior Engineer.
