Job summary

CRB is seeking an AIC Engineer III in New Jersey to oversee discipline scope and budgets on small-to-medium projects. You will coordinate with internal/external engineers, clients, and vendors, directing work, and leading design across multiple phases.

Mentorship and budgeting are key aspects of this role. The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and 5+ years of design-experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in ChemE, ME or EE.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and external partners.
• Plans and directs work and manages a project budget from a discipline design perspective on small projects of limited complexity.
• Supports proposal development under supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Identifies basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and surveys.
• Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications.
• Leads discipline checks and mentors Engineer I / Designer I & II.
