Job summary

CRB is seeking an AIC Engineer III to oversee discipline design on small to medium projects, coordinating with internal and external engineers and client teams. You will manage budgets, mentor junior staff, and lead design phases from programming through construction administration.

The role requires ABET-accredited BS in ChemE/ME/EE and at least five years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office, and knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in ChemE, ME or EE.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience; preferably in a design firm.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with clients and external partners.
  • Plans and directs work and manages a project budget from a discipline design perspective.
  • Supports proposal development under the supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer.
  • Identifies basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.
  • Develops basic internal discipline design and engineering training presentations.
  • Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.
  • Leads squad check and discipline check for small projects of intermediate complexity and drives overall project quality.
  • Provides mentorship to discipline Engineer I and/or Designer I and II.
  • Leads intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead or Senior Engineer.
