Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a Senior Field Property Claim Resolution Specialist, Large Loss, to lead investigations of severe property losses and determine coverage for dwellings and related structures. You will inspect sites, appraise repairs, and coordinate with Liberty's contractor network to move claims forward with limited supervision.

The role requires handling high-exposure cases, mentoring peers, and potentially stepping into catastrophe duties.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of claims handling procedures.
Knowledge of homeowner policy coverages.
Experience handling high-complexity claims.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Completion of advanced property training.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years experience.

Responsibilities

Investigate high-severity property losses, determine coverage and adjust the claim.
Manage a pending of complex, high-exposure claims with minimal supervision.
Inspect loss sites in person and write appraisals for repairs.
Independently scope large losses and partner with network contractors.
Certify and re-inspect Liberty-referred contractors as needed.
Walk policyholders through coverage and coordinate emergency repairs.
Coordinate vendors, emergency crews and living arrangements.
Spot suspicious losses and support SIU investigations.
Step into catastrophe duty when needed, including CAT fieldwork.
Mentor team members and assist claims manager.
