Liberty Mutual is seeking a Senior Field Property Claim Resolution Specialist for large losses in the Los Angeles area. You will handle complex property claims on-site, determine coverage, coordinate repairs, and guide policyholders through the recovery process with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Investigate high‑severity property losses, determine coverage and adjust every aspect of the claim to the dwelling and other structures.
• Manage a pending of complex, high‑exposure claims with minimal supervision.
• Inspect loss sites in person, write appraisals for dwelling repairs and issue payment to policyholders where possible.
• Independently scope large losses and partner with Liberty’s network contractors throughout the appraisal process.
• Certify and re‑inspect Liberty‑referred contractors and independents as needed.
• Walk policyholders through coverage, help them itemize damages and coordinate emergency repairs and additional living arrangements.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, emergency repair crews, cleaning services and replacement providers, to keep recovery moving.
• Spot suspicious losses, recommend SIU referrals and support SIU’s investigation when called on.
• Step into catastrophe duty when needed, which may include supporting CAT operations, overseeing quality control on independents and troubleshooting high‑profile cases.
• Mentor property team members as a technical resource, and step in for your claims team manager when needed.
