Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in California is seeking a Senior Field Property Claim Resolution Specialist, Large Loss to handle the most complex property losses with minimal supervision. You will investigate, determine coverage, scope on-site, and guide policyholders through every step of recovery while traveling up to 75% across the SF Bay Area to Sacramento market.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of claims handling procedures.
Full working knowledge of claims operations and procedures.
Experience with homeowner policy coverages.
Ability to handle highly complex, high-exposure claims.
Licensing as required.

Responsibilities

Investigate high-severity property losses, determine coverage, and adjust the claim.
Manage a portfolio of complex, high-exposure claims with minimal supervision.
Inspect loss sites in person and write appraisals for repairs.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to facilitate repairs and recovery.
Mentor team members and support the claims manager as needed.
Support CAT operations during catastrophe duty when required.
Identify potential SIU referrals and assist investigations.
