Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge of claims handling procedures.
• Full working knowledge of claims operations and procedures.
• Ability to handle high complexity and exposure claims.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate high-severity property losses and determine coverage.
• Adjust all aspects of the claim to dwelling and structures.
• Inspect loss sites in person and write appraisals for repairs.
• Independently scope large losses and coordinate with network contractors.
• Mentor team members and support claims manager when needed.
• Walk policyholders through coverage and coordinate emergency repairs.
