CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, seeks a Sr. Large Loss Adjuster for homeowner claims, remote in the United States. You will own 1st-party property losses with authority up to $250,000 for structural damage and coordinate with SIU, Subrogation, and legal teams across states.

The role emphasizes expert negotiation, accurate estimates using Xactimate, and collaboration with insureds, contractors, and attorneys to resolve complex claims. Travel may be required for in-person meetings.

Formación

• 5-10 years claims experience with emphasis on Homeowner field claims.
• 3+ years handling Homeowner Total Loss claims.
• High School or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Owns 1st-party property losses with authority up to $250,000 for structural damage.
• Evaluates personal property losses associated with dwelling losses.
• Handles claims up to policy limits for all 1st-party coverages.
• May handle desk claims.
• Directs loss investigation with SIU and Subrogation as needed, providing management with recommendations.
• Works with insureds, contractors, public adjusters and attorneys to resolve complex claims.
• Develops structural repair bids using Xactimate.
• May handle multiple states and understand relevant laws and regulations.
• Assesses building damage and writes estimates to rebuild the home.
• Negotiates costs of repair with insureds, contractors and others.
• Consults with outside legal counsel on complex coverage issues.
• May respond to catastrophe situations outside normal work area.
• Shapes company culture, supports employee groups, mentoring, volunteering, cross-functional projects.
• Champions cultural norms and ownership mindset, willing to on-board new team members.
