Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Large Loss Adjuster for Homeowner Claims with remote options.

You will own full first-party property losses, with settlement authority up to $250,000 for structural damage, and coordinate with SIU, Subrogation, and counsel to resolve complex claims across states. You will develop structural repair bids using Xactimate, assess personal property losses, negotiate costs with insureds, contractors and public adjusters, and mentor teammates while advancing CSAA’s

Qualifications

• 5-10 years claims experience with preferred emphasis on Homeowner field claims.
• 3+ years handling Homeowner Total Loss claims.
• High School (HS) or GED.

Responsibilities

• Own full ownership of 1st-party property losses with limit; settlement authority up to $250,000 for structural damage.
• Evaluate personal property losses associated with dwelling losses.
• Handle claims up to policy limits for all 1st-party coverages.
• May handle desk claims.
• Provide direction regarding investigation and coordinate with SIU and Subrogation as needed.
• Work with insureds, contractors, public adjusters and attorneys to resolve highly complex claims.
• Develop structural repair bids using Xactimate.
• Understand laws of multiple states and adapt accordingly.
• Assess building damage and write estimates to rebuild the home.
• Negotiate costs of repair with insureds, contractors and engineers.
• Consult with outside counsel on complex coverage issues.
