Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Large Loss Adjuster for Homeowner Claims — Remote. This role owns 1st-party losses with authority up to $250,000 in structural damage and may handle desk claims across states where CSAA IG provides homeowner policies.

You will develop structural repair bids using Xactimate, assess losses, and collaborate with SIU, Subrogation, and legal teams. A strong background in claims and negotiation is essential.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required; BA/BS preferred.
• 5–10 years claims experience with emphasis on Homeowner field claims.
• 3+ years handling Homeowner Total Loss claims.

Responsibilities

• Own 1st-party property losses with settlement authority up to $250,000 for structural damage.
• Evaluate personal property losses and all 1st-party coverages.
• Develop structural repair bids using Xactimate and write rebuild estimates.
• Coordinate with SIU, Subrogation, and legal teams as needed.
• Work with insureds, contractors, public adjusters and attorneys on complex claims.
• Travel as needed for meetings and catastrophe response.
