CSAA Insurance Group, a leading personal lines property and casualty insurer, seeks a Sr. Large Loss Adjuster for Homeowner Claims—Remote. This role holds full ownership of 1st-party property losses with up to $250,000 in structural damage and requires expertise across investigations, negotiations, and complex settlements.

Remote anywhere in the United States with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska. Colorado-specific ranges apply; strong Xactimate skills and licensure readiness are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years claims experience with emphasis on homeowner field claims.
• 3+ years handling Homeowner Total Loss claims.
• High School (HS) or GED required.
• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proficient with Xactimate or similar estimating system.

Responsabilités

• Full ownership of 1st-party property losses with no limit and settlement authority up to $250,000 in structural damage.
• Evaluate personal property losses for dwelling losses.
• Handle claims up to policy limits for all 1st-party coverages.
• May handle desk claims.
• Direct investigation of losses with internal teams; provide management with recommendations.
• Work with insureds, contractors, public adjusters and attorneys to resolve highly complex claims.
• Develop structural repair bids using Xactimate.
• Possibly handle multiple states and understand each state's laws.
• Assess building damage, scope repairs, and write rebuild estimates.
• Negotiate cost of repairs with insureds, contractors, engineers and public adjusters.
• Consult with outside legal counsel on coverage issues.
