Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Sr. Technical Specialist to join the Strategic Resolution Group Claim team. You will handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct, environmental claims and excess claims with significant financial exposures. Under general supervision, you will resolve claims efficiently while applying advanced legal knowledge across jurisdictions.

You will mentor junior staff, interview and train others, and support interviewing and hiring as needed to strengthen the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of toxic tort, latent injury, environmental claim and coverage experience.

Responsibilities

• Coverage research and analysis of policies from multiple legacy companies.
• Liability investigation and analysis to determine damages.
• Litigation management and strategic file handling with counsel.
• Account management with internal and external stakeholders.
• Financial analysis and budgeting for claims exposure.
• Documented file maintenance and SRG system compliance.
• Coaching, mentoring and training of junior staff.
• Project leadership on special initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
