Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to drive the timely delivery of new home projects through schedules, budgets, and permit processes. You will collaborate with Construction leaders to prepare ready-to-build sites and assist in entitlement budgeting and design value engineering.

The role requires at least 5 years in land development, a related degree preferred, and strong computer and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and project scheduling software.
• Detail oriented and a problem-solver.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver successful and timely new projects using construction schedules, budgets, environmental studies, geotechnical reports and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to prepare ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in creating development budgets during entitlement and value-engineering design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities to maintain land use and development rights.
• Oversee projects from permit approvals to construction, plat recording, final certification and turnover.
• Manage field operations for land development including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping, and as-builts.
• Oversee HOA management, including quarterly meetings, budgets and improvements to common spaces.
• Handle bond maintenance and retrieval of guaranties used by the division.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver amenities and ensure marketing windows.
• Ensure SWPPP management and compliance.
• Review project development budgets with the Director of Development for reconciliation.
