Larson Maddox seeks an experienced attorney to join its remote Labor & Employment practice as Special Counsel. You will handle sophisticated employment litigation, manage cases from start to finish, supervise junior attorneys, and appear at hearings, mediations, and trials in a fully remote role.

The position offers reduced billable hour expectations, no business development requirements, a supportive team, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years of Labor & Employment experience.
• Strong employment litigation experience.
• Remote work ability and independence in a remote environment.
• Active bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation matters.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions; draft and review pleadings and motions.
• Develop case strategy and supervise junior attorneys as appropriate.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials.
