The ideal candidate has seven years in labor compliance within construction, deep knowledge of labor laws, and strong communication skills to coordinate with leadership and external bodies.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in labor compliance within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction contract types and language related to labor compliance.
• Ability to interpret Government and other regulations for the company.
• Up-to-date on industry issues related to labor compliance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Labor Compliance Program and manage the labor compliance group.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor applicable laws and regulations; share best practices and advise on changes.
• Investigate identified or reported compliance issues with leadership and other departments.
• Participate in third-party/government reviews, audits and inquiries.
• Identify, develop, and participate in labor compliance training initiatives.
• Engage in external training and industry committees to stay current with trends.
