Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on ontology engineering or knowledge modeling experience.
• 12+ years ownership/delivery of production-grade ontologies in large environments.
• Leadership role with responsibility for standards, team development, and roadmap ownership.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ontology lifecycle from requirements to stewardship.
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and URI/versioning strategies.
• Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise assets.
• Oversee ontology governance, reviews, and sign-offs with stakeholders.
• Lead SME workshops and translate modeling decisions for non-technical audiences.
• Partner with NLP/AI teams on ontology-guided information extraction and features.
