Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own ontology design, governance, and delivery across enterprise knowledge graphs. You will steer semantic modeling strategy, governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration with data engineering and AI/ML teams.

Responsibilities include lifecycle ownership, tooling decisions, stakeholder alignment, and delivering scalable semantic assets aligned to business goals. Hybrid role with frequent client travel.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on ontology engineering or knowledge modeling experience.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade ontologies in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience leading Agile or iterative delivery with stakeholder-facing estimation.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end ontology lifecycle: requirements, modeling, validation, deployment, stewardship.
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and standards for reuse and governance.
• Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise semantic assets.
• Oversee data hydration, validation pipelines, and integration with data sources.
• Lead workshops with business SMEs to elicit concepts and relationships.
