Job summary

Accenture in California is seeking a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise knowledge graph initiatives. Qualifications

Minimum 12 years hands-on ontology engineering experience.
12 years owning production-grade ontologies in enterprise/large-scale environments.
12 years in lead/architect role with standards, roadmaps, and stakeholder-facing estimation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or related field.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end ontology lifecycle from requirements to stewardship.
Define enterprise ontology architecture, standards, and URI/versioning policies.
Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise semantic assets.
Oversee knowledge graph hydration, validation, and deployment pipelines.
Lead SME workshops and drive stakeholder alignment across business and tech teams.
