Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage major enterprise accounts from initial request through final project closeout. This highly visible role balances customer relationships, project coordination, and operational execution across multiple stakeholders.

You will build trusted relationships across facilities, workplace, procurement, and real estate teams, coordinate cross-functional projects, and provide regular status updates while driving on-time completion

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in commercial interiors, workplace solutions, contract furniture, facilities management, project management, architecture, design, construction, or a related field.
• Experience with Steelcase, Steelcase global accounts, contract furniture, or dealer environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, project coordination, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, customer requests, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM, project tracking, order management, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with facilities, workplace, procurement, real estate, and operations stakeholders.
• Coordinate complex projects across design, project management, procurement, installation, and customer experience teams.
• Manage projects ranging from day-to-day service requests to major workplace initiatives, keeping schedules, budgets, specifications, and milestones on track.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and provide customers with consistent status updates.
• Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, furniture moves, reconfigurations, exchanges, assessments, and work orders.
• Lead customer meetings, project reviews, reporting, and final project closeout activities.
