Job summary

The State of Delaware seeks an experienced Judicial Case Processor III to review, prepare, process, and maintain a wide range of court documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to rules and deadlines.

incumbents independently perform complex tasks under minimal supervision, coordinating with judicial officers, court staff, and external parties to resolve case processing issues and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in document processing or reviewing records for completeness and conformity.
• Two years’ experience using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve and report data.
• Two years’ experience applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Six months’ experience creating reports that combine data from multiple sources in an organized format.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and issues a wide variety of court/legal documents and determines the appropriate procedural requirements for processing.
• Delivers excellent customer service in person, by phone, or electronically to internal and external stakeholders.
• Applies laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures relevant to case processing activities.
• Reviews and evaluates case records for completeness, accuracy, eligibility, and compliance with procedures and timelines.
• Researches case files and databases to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Maintains files and records with required documents.
• Uses information systems to enter, update, modify, retrieve, and report data.
• Attends hearings to provide files and case information to the judicial officer; records dispositions and administers oaths.
