Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join the Regulatory Reporting Hub, a critical application ensuring global regulatory compliance. The role focuses on building enterprise Java/J2EE web apps and dashboard components, mentoring juniors, and guiding architectural decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, participate in Agile delivery, and support testing and deployment across Citi’s global operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Expertise in Core Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and J2EE.
• Experience with RESTful services and front-end tech.
• Banking/Regulatory reporting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java/J2EE web apps.
• Enhance front-end components with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and AJAX.
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, testing, and UAT involvement.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to meet regulatory reporting needs.
