Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience in engineering management or similar roles.
• BS/MS in STEM or Finance disciplines.
• Experience with relational and document databases, data structures, caching and reporting.
• Proficient in Java 17/JEE, Spring, and NoSQL.
• Mentor and oversee engineers across time zones.
• Strong collaboration with Risk, Finance and Front Office teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of engineers supporting multiple systems with customer focus and ownership.
• Be hands-on with technical architecture and design reviews; drive delivery.
• Own multiple critical work streams with clear objectives and measurable results.
• Establish and promote design and coding best practices within the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and regulators to align projects and outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and continuously improve engineering practices.
• Present ideas clearly to senior stakeholders and teams.
• Collaborate to design, build and deliver high-quality software.
