Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Rutherford, NJ to participate in developing large-scale credit risk applications. You will lead, mentor, and deliver robust software within a technology-driven team, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.

The role entails designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerized services with Kubernetes, and strong collaboration with engineering and security teams to ensure compliance and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Java
• Experience in architecture and programming of large-scale applications
• Experience guiding and delivering complex projects

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Lead complex projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for high availability and scalability.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software products.
