Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) seeks a senior software engineering leader to guide a skilled team building core components for the Ovation Risk Platform.

You will drive architecture decisions, oversee performance reviews and compensation, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives while advancing fault-tolerant, real-time data pipelines. A strong PostgreSQL background and domain knowledge of clearing workflows are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with 3 years of senior software/engineering leadership experience.
• Experience designing and operating large scale streaming architectures e.g., Kafka/Flink.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL design, query optimization, and schema management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diversely skilled team of engineers building foundational components for Ovation Risk Platform.
• Provide senior-level people management including performance reviews and compensation decisions.
• Architect, document, and refine system architectures; deliver cross-functional projects at scale.
