The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a senior engineering leader to manage a diverse team building foundational components of the Ovation Risk Platform. You will drive design decisions, performance management, and cross-functional delivery at scale, with a focus on fault-tolerant streaming architectures and AI/ML integration.

You will guide architecture, collaborate with senior partners, and shape target state designs while ensuring robust risk and clearing workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating large-scale event streaming with Kafka & Flink.
• AI/ML integration into enterprise-grade systems with PostgreSQL design and optimization.
• Domain knowledge of options exchange operations, trade lifecycle, and clearing workflows.
• Senior-level engineering people management with performance reviews and compensation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diversely skilled team of engineers and manage performance reviews.
• Collaborate on complex multi-system projects and architecture decisions.
• Design and operate large-scale data streaming architectures using Kafka and Flink.
• Act as technical product owner and integrate AI/ML capabilities.
