The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a software engineer to advance data-driven initiatives in the United States. You will collaborate with business analysts, team leads and developers to deliver scalable Java-based solutions for critical financial market clearing and risk activities.

Responsibilities include building highly concurrent Java applications, integrating Apache Kafka and JMS messaging for high-throughput data pipelines, and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and five years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building Java/Cucumber BDD frameworks and multi-threaded systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and Oracle, MySQL, DB2.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data solutions supporting financial market clearing and risk activities.
• Architect and maintain a Java/Cucumber automation framework with three-tier memory management (Local/Step, Feature/Scenario, Global/Suite).
• Build and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, team leads and developers to support enterprise transformation into a data-driven organization.
