The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a senior engineering leader to manage a diverse team delivering foundational components for the Ovation Risk Platform. You will drive sound architectural decisions, oversee cross-functional projects, and refine complex requirements for scalable systems.
Responsibilities include people management, performance reviews, compensation decisions, and leading large-scale streaming architectures.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, IT, business administration, or related
- 3+ years of experience as a senior software engineer, manager application engineer, or related
Responsibilities
- Lead a diversely skilled team of engineers building foundational components for the Ovation Risk Platform.
- Provide senior-level engineering people management, including performance reviews and compensation decisions.
- Design and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant event streaming architectures using Kafka and Flink for real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Act as technical product owner to refine business, architectural and design requirements.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise-grade systems with PostgreSQL design and schema management.
