Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based software applications at scale
• 3+ years of AWS development including CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, Elasticsearch, and S3; strong IAM knowledge
• Experience with Generative AI tools in software development
• 3+ years building software with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven architecture
• Experience deploying software with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum)
• Strong AWS SQS/SNS/Kinesis knowledge
• RESTful API design experience
• Swagger, Postman, and Assertible experience
• TDD and BDD
• Selenium and Cucumber integration in CI/CD
• Databases: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Passion for technology and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Perform programming, development, and system administration assignments with minimal supervision
• Design, code, test, and debug high-complexity programs
• Configure and customize high-complexity purchased software solutions
• Provide project leadership and guidance to team members
• Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems, including off-hours support
• Work independently on complex processes and modules across programs and infrastructure changes
• Develop major system modules and infrastructure releases based on customer requirements
• Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components
• Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts
• Maintain knowledge of languages, system analysis, testing, debugging, and design standards
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaboration with other teams
• Engage in PR reviews and cross-team collaboration
