Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in IT software development.
• 3+ years Java and Spring in production.
• 3+ years building microservices and RESTful APIs on AWS or containers.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in end-to-end design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services.
• Meet development schedules and deliver high-quality solutions meeting technical specifications and design requirements.
• Lead software development lifecycle specification and software design phases.
• Manage design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts and software testing with other technologists.
• Align initiatives with platform technical architecture and business roadmap.
• Design and develop technical solutions.
• Coordinate coding and unit testing phases and facilitate code reviews.
• Develop domain solutions and execute changes according to implementation plans.
• Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders, including recommended action plans.
• Coordinate delivery timelines and quality and timeliness metrics.
• Coach, mentor, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
• Participate actively in code development.
