Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc in the United States seeks a Lead Java Developer to drive backend architecture and delivery. You will craft robust Java applications using Core Java, Spring, and MVC, and guide a team through monolith to microservices evolution.

The role demands strong AWS expertise (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Cognito, Step Functions), REST APIs, SQL, and hands-on leadership. On-site collaboration across Charlotte, Chicago, and New Jersey is required.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, and MVC.
Proficiency with Spring Boot and Angular is preferred.
Strong AWS experience (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Cognito, Step Functions) and SQL.
Experience with REST APIs and microservices development.

Responsibilities

Assess the technical viability of emerging products and technologies.
Work with developers and infrastructure specialists to test and evaluate new technologies.
Participate in the development of business cases and approvals for capital expenditures.
Monitor and analyze new technology product performance and resolve improvements as needed.
Design and develop high‑resilience microservices and evolve from monolith to microservice architectures; review peers' work and enforce coding standards.
