Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an senior software engineer to lead design and development of scalable Java applications and microservices in an enterprise environment. You will work with Spring, REST/SOAP APIs, and AWS services to build robust, secure solutions and participate in SOA architecture discussions.

Ideal candidates have extensive UML modeling experience and a strong track record in API integration, ESB concepts, and event-driven architectures using modern tooling (Kafka, Redis, WebSphere,

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience with enterprise systems, including 5+ years of Java development and integration.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Batch.
• Ability to design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in an SOA environment.
• UML skills and ability to facilitate OO/J2EE design, following best practices and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and microservices.
• Integrate with and manage APIs exposing microservices (REST, SOAP).
• Collaborate on architecture using Enterprise Service Bus concepts and event-driven designs.
