Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks a versatile Senior IT Technician to maintain desktops, servers, networks, and manufacturing tools in a fast-paced industrial setting in Fort Wayne, IN.

The role spans end-user and server support, network troubleshooting, printer repairs, SCIF PC work, and office buildouts. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of IT support experience in industrial environments, a Bachelor's in IT/CS (or equivalent) and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience + certifications
• 2-5 years IT support experience in manufacturing/industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, printers, and shop-floor hardware

Responsibilities

• Own the full PCaaS lifecycle: deployment, new-hire setups, hardware refreshes, decommissioning
• Provide day-to-day end-user support (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, SCIF PCs)
• Manage printer support, peripherals, ordering/stockpiling, and e-waste disposal
• Support conference rooms, AV setups, and ad-hoc meeting tech needs
• Assist with real estate moves and facility wiring, cabling, and closet setups
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and engineering tools, shop-floor terminals, and peripherals
• Perform patching, storage management, and data protection tasks
• Handle network operations: VPN, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, switches; manage data closets
