Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Technician for a contract role at a large manufacturing facility in Clinton, IN. You will provide onsite end-user support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and manage tickets to ensure timely resolutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT support in a complex enterprise, a IT degree, and strong troubleshooting skills across devices. You will work with a small team to support ~500 users and 200 devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support role within a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or large-scale operational environment preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, and end-user applications.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite end-user support for a large manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, device, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support approximately 500 users and 200 devices in collaboration with a small technical support team.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with printer setup, device troubleshooting, and workstation support.
• Deliver excellent customer service while communicating effectively with users at all levels.
• Contribute to ongoing IT operations and support initiatives across the site.
