Job summary

NerdsToGo is seeking a Level 2/3 Senior Technician to join our MSP team in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The role focuses on providing advanced technical support, executing managed services tasks, and leading complex projects for residential and small business clients.

You will work independently, manage high‑level tasks, and mentor junior staff while ensuring top‑quality service and secure IT environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in technology field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of technical support experience, preferably in an MSP.
• Advanced knowledge of PC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance (A+).
• Experience with Windows OS, Windows Server, Mac and Apple products.
• Familiarity with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers in-store, over the phone, and on-site to provide advanced IT solutions.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
• Perform advanced PC hardware and software troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Execute data recovery, loss prevention, and advanced network installation tasks.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and security settings.
• Manage Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
• Work with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) to support customer solutions.
• Plan and execute productivity suite migrations with minimal downtime.
• Scope, design, and implement LAN/WAN/wireless network projects.
• Conduct security and risk assessments; recommend solutions.
• Use PSA and RMM tools to monitor, manage, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Level 1 Technicians, providing guidance.
