Job summary

NerdsToGo is seeking a Level 2/3 technician to join our team. This role focuses on advanced on-site technical support, managed services tasks, and leading complex projects for residential and small business customers.

The technician will manage hybrid environments across Microsoft 365, AD, and cloud platforms. The candidate should have 3+ years of technical support, strong networking and Windows/Mac experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience providing technical support, preferably in a managed services environment.
A+ certification skill set or equivalent.
Proficiency with routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, WAPs and other networking devices.
Experience with Windows OS, Windows Server, and Mac/iOS products; strong Office suite knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide account management for business customers.
Consult with customers in-store, over the phone, and on-site to provide advanced solutions.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PC hardware and software.
Perform data recovery and network installation tasks.
Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments.
Coordinate with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) to support solutions.
Plan and execute productivity suite migrations with minimal downtime.
Design and implement LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
Conduct security and risk assessments and implement solutions.
Use PSA and RMM tools to monitor and resolve issues.
Mentor Level 1 technicians as needed.
