BCforward is seeking an IT Systems Analyst: IV (Lead) for the Minneapolis, MN contract role. The position requires independence with a hybrid work arrangement on site in Minneapolis.

The Senior/Lead analyst will drive end-to-end business analysis for commodity trading and IT solutions, partner with CHS Trading, Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, and IT teams to translate business needs into clear requirements, support solution design, and ensure high-quality delivery across the full project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior BA in commodity trading and hedging.
• Delivery across requirements, process mapping, solution design support, SIT/UAT coordination.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ION XTP/Openlink platforms in functional/techno-functional roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for hedging and trade initiatives from discovery through stabilization.
• Document current and future-state processes, controls, handoffs, and exception handling across front-to-back trade flows.
• Translate business needs into testable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation.
• Support solution design, configuration approach, and integration touchpoints with architects and product owners.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and deployment readiness activities.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of analysis standards.
