Job summary

AssetMark in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Trading Systems Lead to own complex analysis, testing, and operational readiness across the trading technology stack. You will translate business needs into system changes and coordinate with Trade Operations, Product Engineering, Compliance, and vendors to drive UAT, validation, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment management, wealth management, capital markets, trading operations, or related tech roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis of complex trading system, workflow, data, connectivity, and control issues across order creation, execution, allocations, trade posting, and post-trade processes.
• Own root-cause analysis and corrective action tracking for complex incidents and control breaks; communicate impact, risk, remediation, and status to stakeholders.
• Design, enhance, and interpret monitoring frameworks, dashboards and alerts for cycle time, touchless processing, and operational performance.
• Plan and lead UAT, regression testing, scenario validation, production readiness reviews, and post-implementation validation.
• Translate trading and operational needs into clear functional requirements, workflow designs, test plans, and decision-ready recommendations.
• Maintain configuration, workflow, control, and process documentation for production teams.
