Job summary

City of Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst to lead a team of Applications Analysts and Programmers, coordinating development, maintenance, and support of critical city applications.

The role requires a strong background in application development, testing and documentation, with emphasis on delivering integrated software solutions and supporting enterprise IT services. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Six years’ experience in application development support using specific technical tools.
• Resume is required and a copy of System Administrator Certification must be attached to your application.

Responsibilities

• Lead Applications Analysts, Applications Programmer/Analysts, Applications Programmer and Software Developers; provide support to assigned areas' applications, schedule and review work.
• Evaluate directions to implement new functionality or enhance support of applications within City processes.
• Develop and implement business application software; ensure integration with enterprise infrastructure.
• Lead enhancements and customize delivered software; translate business requirements into technical specs.
